Eden Unearthed 2021

Our spectacular Eden Unearthed exhibition returns for its fifth year featuring over 35 stunning installations set amongst the breathtaking gardens at Eden. Each work captures an exceptional and ephemeral environmental element, often using recycled materials and plant products. Eden Unearthed is the largest privately-funded exhibition of its kind in Australia. The fabulous outdoor display garden features floating, suspended, sculptural and sound installations.
There are thirty five installations, all capturing something exceptional and ephemeral about our environment, focusing on recycled materials and plant products. The works focus on environmental issues such as recycling, drought and climate change, and many utilise recycled materials and plant products. The largest privately funded exhibition of its kind in Australia

The Wings of Eden
The Wings of Eden is inspired by international street artist Kelsey Montague, but with an Eden Gardens leafy twist. Standing guard at the entrance, this evolving installation is a collaborative work being created by staff at Eden and the broader community, with local schools and Father Chris Riley’s Youth Off The Streets all taking part.
We invite you to colour in some leaves to turn into ‘feathers’ on our ‘gardening angel’, enter the colouring in competition or simply take a photo and post #liftsmeup #wingsofeden with something that inspires you.
